Award Category: Multiple Use Management & Corridor Sharing
2004 Annual Achievement Award winner: for trail projects funded through the Recreational Trails Program of the Federal Highway Administration

The Minooka Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Park will include:

  • Multi-use trails
  • Fishing lake with accessible walkways
  • Accessible fishing piers
  • Nature training facility
  • Rider education and training area
  • Full hook-up and primitive camp sites
  • General store
  • Day-use area
  • Bathhouse facilities.

    The trail is open for ATVs, mountain bikes, hiking, off-road motorcycles, and horseback riders.
