Hosted by AmericanTrails. org Washington State Parks seeks GPS Mapping Specialist and Trails Assessor Salary: $46,613.00 - $58,267.00 Annually Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission (WSPRC) has identified the need for extensive trail and resource inventory. WSPRC in committed to providing recreation for all, including the maintenance and development of recreational and interpretive trails. Using Geographic Positioning Systems (GPS) technology, the location of trails, facilities, and various natural and cultural features will be recorded on-site. The field data will be entered into an agency-wide database and used for spatial mapping applications. General Responsibilities: Apply basic and advanced concepts of mapping grade GPS.
