Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department Senior Park Planner

Salary: $46,613.00 - $58,267.00 Annually

Incumbents perform the most complex planning and design activities requiring licensure in the area assigned. Duties might include: preparing master plans, site development plans, budget estimates, full construction documents and bidding documents; preparing engineering calculations; reviewing plans, and specification prepared by consultants; attending meetings with consultants, contractors, and Department staff; and, assisting other staff as required to get projects designed and constructed.

Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Landscape Architecture, or Public Administration and four years of related planning and/or design experience. Licensing Requirements: Valid NC or SC driver's license. Positions may have licensure in area of assignment such as: NC Landscape Architecture Licensure.
