Hosted by AmericanTrails. org Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers seeks Administrative/ Programs Assistant Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers has a job opening for a part-time Administrative/ Programs Assistant position. - http://www.cyca.org/ Position Title: Administrative & Program Assistant Position Type: Part-time, 15 to 25 hours per week Location: Basalt, Colorado - RFOV offices Salary: $14 - $18/hr depending on experience Reports To: RFOV Executive Director Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers (RFOV) is a non-profit organization with a mission to promote stewardship of our public lands by creating volunteer opportunities for trail work and conservation projects. Position Description: The Administrative & Program Assistant serves as the primary support staff person to oversee the management of the RFOV office operations including data management, and helps facilitate several RFOV programs. Position offers flexible hours between 8 and 6, Monday through Friday, as well as opportunities for advancement, and may become full-time, regular. Specific Responsibilities: * Office Management: Provide general supportive services to RFOV staff and volunteers including: scheduling, working with vendors to maintain the computer network & office machines, ordering office supplies, and coordinating meetings. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor¡¦s degree is preferred, however, applicable work experience may substitute for the educational preferences. * One to two years of nonprofit or small business administrative support experience. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to prepare special reports according to general instructions.
Other Qualifications: * Some local travel, night meetings and weekends required. Manual Functions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit, talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to operate objects, tools or controls, and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to focus.
