The Ozark Trail Association (OTA) is a 501(c) 3 volunteer non-profit organization whose mission is to develop, maintain, preserve, and protect the rugged, natural beauty of the Ozark Trail. The Ozark Trail is a 225-mile through-trail which runs from Onondaga Cave (near Leasburg, Missouri) to the Eleven Point River (near Thomasville, Missouri). The OTA is recognized as the premier backcountry trail organization in the state of Missouri.


Position Summary


The Executive Director reports to the Ozark Trail Association (OTA) Board of Directors and is responsible for the general management of the organization, ensuring optimum results for programs and services, providing leadership in financial development by creating and retaining revenue streams utilizing best business practices, and performing other duties delegated by the Board. The Executive Director must demonstrate clear and effective communication skills in order to work collaboratively with the Board of Directors, members, employees, volunteers and land stewards.
