Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association Open Space Department

Position Opening: Park Ranger-Trails Specialist Pay and Benefits: Full-time with benefits.

Hiring range $40,000.00/yr.- $50,000.00/yr., depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities: Ken-Caryl Ranch is a master planned community located in the SW Denver Metropolitan area. The Master Association owns and manages close to 5,000 acres of native open space along the foothills of the Front Range. The position’s primary responsibility is maintenance and construction of the 38 mile open space trail system. A significant amount of time is also spent training and supervising volunteers in trail construction and maintenance projects.

Skills Desired: Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management or related field preferred. At least five years of work experience in trail construction and maintenance a must. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be a confident leader. Must have solid experience working with and training volunteers and interacting with the public.
