Vote Online and Text Your Support for the Arizona Trail April 1 to May 31, 2009 Winner takes all - five finalists from across the U.S., including the Arizona Trail, are vying for top honors in the Redwood Creek Greater Outdoors Project. The one organization that receives the greatest number of votes from among the proposals wins the $50,000 award. THE PROJECT: Saguaro National Park Connector Trail HOW TO VOTE: Between 12 AM ET April 1, 2009 and midnight ET on May 31, 2009, you can vote for the Arizona Trail project once ONLINE DAILY and once via TEXT MESSAGE DAILY during this period!
Online: The first time only, you will be required to register on "Blaze the Trail", Redwood Creek's community site, in order to make your vote count. After you fill in all of the required fields, make sure you click on the AZT choice before you submit your registration (the box will turn green and the "vote" button will change). After registering, you will receive a confirmation email from Redwood Creek confirming your registration and vote. Redwood Creek Wines wants to pay it forward in an effort to help better America’s great outdoors. Redwood Creek has partnered with Planet Green in giving a $50,000 grant to the best outdoor project. The Greater Outdoors Project was established to recognize and support nonprofit organizations that share a “commitment to preserve, protect, and provide access to America’s great outdoors.” HOW TO VOTE: From now until May 31, 2009, America will determine the next Greater Outdoors Project Winner. You can vote twice a day via text and email for your favorite project. To get specifics on each finalist and detailed instructions on how to vote go to: www.blazethetrail.com/greatoutdoors/vote/.
