Location: Willamette National Forest - Detroit Rd., In Willamette National Forest, NE of Detroit on SR 22.
States: Oregon

From Detroit, Oregon turn left onto Breitenbush Road (Highway 46), travel for 11.5 milesto the junction with Forest Service Road 4685, turn right on FS Road 4685.
Access #1 is 1/2 mile up FS Road 4685. Access #2 is 2 miles up FS Road 4685 at Roaring Creek.
The third access point is the South Breitenbush Trail trailhead - 2 miles past access #2.

Description

This trail meanders along the South Breitenbush River through old growth Douglas Fir, Western Hemlock, and Western Red Cedar trees. There is a short hike off of the main trail to view the natural grove.
