Description

This 3.3 mile long paved bicycle trail winds through an area offering both scenic views and extensive recreational opportunities. The trail journeys past a major resort and National Forest Visitor Center, several public beaches and picnic areas, and through a historic site. This trail is located within the Camp Richardson area of South Lake Tahoe, and is also adjacent to several campgrounds/RV sites, a riding stable, restaurant and marina. It is one of the most popular trails within the entire Lake Tahoe Basin, and is also widely used by strollers and roller skaters.
