The Symposium will be held at the Austin Convention Center, in proximity to the trail and accommodations in downtown Austin. Getting around is easy.

The conference host hotels, the Hyatt Regency Austin, was selected for their quality and affordability and because their back doors open directly on the 10-mile long Town Lake Hike and Bike Trail. The Radisson Hotel & Suites is three blocks from the Convention Center. See information on other nearby hotels.

The Symposium will be held at the Austin Convention Center, in proximity to the trail and accommodations. The conference host hotels, the Hyatt Regency Austin and Radisson Hotel and Suites, were selected for their quality and affordability and because their back doors open directly on the 10-mile long Town Lake Hike and Bike Trail. Both hotels are just a few blocks from the Convention Center.

The Austin 'Dillo (Capitol Metro Downtown Shuttle)
While walking around Austin is a delightful way to go, the easy alternative is the downtown trolley, known as the 'Dillo (for armadillo). It stops close to both hotels and most of the downtown tourist spots, as well as providing commuter service in the area. The 'Dillo from the Hyatt takes you across the bridge, where you transfer to another to go to the Convention Center. Shuttles run every 5-10 minutes. Best of all, it's free. These reproductions of trolley cars will take you to, from, and through downtown Austin, the Capitol Complex, University of Texas campus, Austin High School Park & Ride lot, and from the free Park & Ride lot at Bouldin and Barton Springs.

Our blocks at the Hyatt and the Radisson are FULL. The Radisson has no more rooms at any rate. The Hyatt has a minimum number of additional rooms at approximately $160 per night
