Time: 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. • Cost: $35.00 (Does not include lunch)

Experience the lure of the Texas Hill Country on this tour emphasizing the planning and management of destination tourism. The first stop is the Lyndon B. Johnson National/State Parks where both Longhorn cattle and buffalo graze amongst the Texas wildflowers. This is the location of LBJ's ranch that was often referred to as the "Texas White House."

Lunch (on your own) will be in the historic German town of Fredricksburg. This quaint town, well known for its food, drinks, and shopping, is a major tourist attraction in Texas.

The final destination will be the Enchanted Rock State Natural Area that is showcased by a huge dome of pink granite that rises 425 feet and covers 640 acres. Trail options include a steep hike to the top of the dome, or a more moderate loop trail around the base. Park rangers will discuss management techniques for this heavily used natural area with multiple recreational and natural assets.

Trails are natural surface pathways over uneven terrain.
