Bulldog OHV Management Jeep Tour
Date: Sunday, April 14
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Location: Bulldog, Tonto National Forest
Cost: $136


This will be a slow paced Jeep tour in Bulldog on the Mesa Ranger District of the Tonto National Forest. Bulldog is a permitted motorized recreation use area that offers spectacular views of the Goldfield and Usery mountains. This workshop displays four-wheel drive opportunities in Arizona and allows for review of topics including OHV permit systems and challenges, wildlife closures, how volunteer and permitted outfitter guides work together to help manage the area, and the telling of Lost Dutchman goldmine stories! Apache Trail Tours will host the ride. The Forest Service will provide commentary and provide an overview of the management techniques being implemented. Participants will have free time to purchase lunch and to tour the Goldfield Ghost Town which offers unique activities, eateries, and western shops.

Difficulty Level

Participants will be passengers in the Jeep and will be required to sign a risk acknowledgment form.
