Symposium Sponsor/Exhibitor Opportunities

Bring more visibility to your organization, projects, and programs by becoming a sponsor or an exhibitor of the 15th National Trails Symposium. American Trails along with the State of California (state host) and the City of Redding (local host) are proud to sponsor the first Symposium of the new Millennium along with a major products and services exhibition. The Symposium will be held in Redding, California, September 21-24, 2000. It is American Trails intention to build lasting partnerships with federal, state, and local trail managing agencies, all trail user and advocacy groups, along with the outdoor product industry. We work to meet this mission by providing sponsorship opportunities and a large exhibition.

The 14th National Trails Symposium held in Tucson, Arizona in 1998, was the Largest Trails Partnership ever, attended by 619 delegates from 46 states, Washington D.C., Canada, Switzerland, and England. There were 95 sponsors, over 140 volunteers, and 150 distinguished presenters! The 95 sponsors ranged from Federal, state, and local trail managing agencies, outdoor industry representatives, leading consultants, and national trails organizations to the smallest local non-profit. Arizona, the state host, brought in 28 sponsors.

The 15th National Trails Symposium will be the highlight of the year for most trails professionals. Taking advantage of these sponsorship opportunities would be very beneficial for anyone who has products, projects, and/or services to offer the trails community. In addition, we hope to have every state showcased along the "Trail of States." Trail user and advocacy organizations can show their pride along the "Trail of Advocacy."

This year's Symposium will give you the opportunity to display your products, services and projects to more professionals than ever before. We anticipate 900 attendees for the 2000 Symposium, well over 100 sponsors, and to sell out our 75 exhibit booths. We have developed an impressive Sponsorship/Exhibitor Benefits Package with many levels of sponsorship to choose from. These sponsorships are specially designed to bring more visibility to your organization. We can create a custom benefits package that might better serve your specific needs if you call the American Trails office. Exhibitors will highlight the industry's state-of-the-art products and services, offer demonstrations, showcase successes, and answer your questions. The Exhibit Hall will be designed to maximize interaction and information exchange.

Why should I sponsor the Symposium?
