POSITION: Recreation Solutions is outreaching to find the best candidate for our upcoming Branch Chief for Trails position. This position is responsible for implementation of a variety of recreation and trails projects. As with all Recreation Solutions positions, the type of work is directly related to market demand. The selected applicant will work directly with the Owner/CEO and will be a member of the Recreation Solutions Leadership Team. The position will be filled in either Phoenix, Arizona or Missoula, Montana. The incumbent should bring high levels of skills in natural resource management, business planning, customer relations, all phases of trail work, and recreation in general. This is an extremely busy unit and the incumbent will be expected to be highly energetic, responsible and self-starting! Because the position is part of an Enterprise Unit, the workload may vary depending on the needs of our customers.

The Recreation Solutions team focus is on implementation of the agency's Recreation Agenda, Natural Resource Agenda and GPRA goals for our recreation programs. Emphasis is on partnerships and the delivery of seamless customer service to the public. All positions at Recreation Solutions will require extensive travel at times. Those selected for these positions must be flexible and acceptable to change on a daily basis. The EU is funded totally from project work, which can cause priorities to change rapidly, depending on market demand. While "enterprising" is challenging, it is also exciting.
