Senior Civil/Transportation CAD Drafter/Designer

Loris and Associates is expanding our Transportation and Civil Engineering capabilities. LORIS staff takes pride in our ability to develop creative designs, in challenging locations that are environmentally and aesthetically sensitive, while meeting all technical requirements and clients’ objectives. We are searching for an exceptional Drafter/Designer who really understands AutoCAD, construction plan content and computer networks. This is a great opportunity for the right person to join the high-quality staff of a unique, top-notch, small company.

Job Summary

Work with engineers to develop designs and construction documents for transportation and site development projects
Responsible for producing plan and profile, cross sections, intersection, signing & striping, phasing, grading, drainage, right-of-way, and utility CAD drawings.
Develop civil engineering CAD standards
Manage and maintain a small in-house computer network and applications

Qualifications

Experience preparing plans for trail, street, highway, site development and bridge projects according to local and CDOT standards
Experience in grading, drainage and utility design
High level of proficiency in AutoCAD and InRoads
Hands-on experience managing a small in-house network with engineering applications is highly desirable

Commensurate with qualifications and experience
