This position oversees the 2,650- mile Pacific Crest Trail which stretches between the borders with Mexico and Canada, passing through California, Oregon and Washington states. This position requires extensive nternal coordination, as well as coordination with other federal agencies, outside partners, private landowners, and more. It also requires a significant amount of travel, particularly within the states of California, Oregon, and Washington. The duty station is the Pacific Southwest Regional Office in Vallejo, CA.
